A Story of a Boy and His Horse – Fireball Summer

Meet the Author of Fireball Summer

Meet author, Lynn Durham on Saturday, June 4, 2016, 10 am-12:30 pm at Davie County Public Library for AuthorTalk. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Davie County Public Library.

AT Lynn Durham

North Carolina authors will chat about their work, including James Lynn Durham who wrote this story about a boy and his horse, and the bond they form during summers spent together. Through adventure and tears, their friendship endures.  This book is written for elementary aged kids.

James Lynn Durham was born and raised in rural North Carolina. He became fascinated with horses at a young age. They became a lifelong passion.  He has raised and trained several horses and competed with them in rodeo and other events.

You can learn more about the book, its author and how to purchase the book at Saturday’s AuthorTalk or visit him online at Mascot Books or Amazon.

Trick or Treat at the Davie County Library

It will be a real “treat” to see you at the library this week…

The Friends of the Davie County Public Library group is privileged to help support the youth programs, and library staff of our libraries.

One of the many ways we do this is by helping our library to purchase Halloween Candy each year to hand out during the Main Street “Trick or Treat” night on Halloween.

We hope to see some of you there!
